My Mom Shared My Marriage Conversation With My Sister… Was I Wrong to Feel Betrayed?

My mom has been pressuring me to get married because she says she has never seen me in a serious relationship. I told her I would let her know when I found someone. Later, she suggested a guy she liked for me, but I told her I wasn’t interested. I kept brushing it off whenever she brought it up. What disappointed me was that she later discussed the whole issue with my younger sister. My sister came to tell me not to let our mom pressure me and that I should take my time. I wasn’t upset with my sister at all, but I felt the conversation between my mom and me should have remained private. I calmly asked my mom why she discussed it with my sister, but she got angry and said, “Isn’t she family? What’s there to hide if someone likes you?” My sister was in the room while she raised her voice, and now she thinks I reported her, so she’s been giving me attitude. I honestly believe parents shouldn’t discuss one child’s personal matters with another child unless it’s absolutely necessary. It can create unnecessary tension, jealousy, or resentment. To make things worse, my sister posted a TikTok with the caption, “Them say make you wait for the right person before…” At first, I didn’t think much of it, but after another post saying, “Don’t try to comfort someone this period,” I started wondering what she and my mom had been discussing about me. Was I wrong for asking my mom why she shared our private conversation?
